Welcome to the Silicon Valley Tennis Podcast. Today we discuss Mastering Mental Strength, Commitment, Concentration, and Planning for Victory on the Court. Coach Francisco Ruiz is joined by a very special guest, Reynaldo Soriano.
Reynaldo is not your average coach. With a background in Peak Performance Coaching, he’s dedicated to helping athletes achieve their peak mental and physical states. Certified in strength and conditioning, fitness training, and NLP Practitioner, Reynaldo brings a unique blend of expertise to the discussion today.
Reynaldo is also a force to be reckoned with on the mat. As a Gracie Jiu-jitsu black belt and Taekwondo black belt, he’s represented Australia on numerous occasions, even competing at the world-class level with selections for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
And his competitive spirit hasn’t waned over the years. Just last year, as a black belt debutant in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Reynaldo secured an impressive 8th place out of 28 competitors at the World Masters Championships.
Born in the Philippines and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Reynaldo now calls the Bay Area home, where he continues to inspire athletes while balancing life as a devoted father to two beautiful kids.
Get ready to be inspired as we delve into the mind of a true champion and learn what it takes to reach peak performance on the court.
