Little champion

Let’s go champ!
Bella (11) has recently won a 14’s challenger and has received some great compliments from Hunter, the leader of the tennis academy from Los Altos, who said she is a really high level player trained by a determined, perseverant coach. What a great combination!

Big win for the 12 years old, Futa

Another achievement not only for Silicon Valley Tennis Academy, but in the personal development of our little tennis players who are ready to grow in a big community. Futa won a 14’s Open tournament from San Jose. Big win we can say, as not much time ago, he came to SVTA as a beginner! Ambition and devotion, mixed with the hard-work of our head coach and the staff gave him a significant boost up to here. We are proud of you Futa!

Winners of the last week

“You don’t want to look like your heroes, you want to see like them”. Well, our students prove that with every new challenge they come upon. One week ago our summer camp started and at the end of the first stage the leaders of our small community of tennis players were decided:
Yuta wins the prize for “The player of the week”!
Congratulations Yuta, your potential never delays to show up!

Futa earns the title of “The most improved player”, then Mandy comes with “The hardworker” status and last but not least, Miu with “The best attitude”!

Nice work everybody! Keep the vibes up and let’s get ready to fight for the next trials!

We are going to keep you updated with the next results of the coming week!

Francisco never stops learning

Our owner and head coach Francisco Ruiz recently travelled to Acapulco to attend a tournament and participate as coach of the kids program. Besides conversations with different coaches, he attended many training sessions of professional tennis players as well. Observing their training helped Francisco get new ideas that he will implement into his own daily practice.

In the evenings Francisco got to watch different matches and observe a variety of players and styles.  The next day Francisco learned more about the amount of time the professionals practice each day, what their routines are.

Francisco is excited about what he has learned and eager to bring new ideas into the tennis program at Silicon Valley Tennis.

Congratulations to Miu for a great year!

Our player Miu from Los Altos just finished a super successful year and we are so proud of all of her accomplishments. She just became the champion of girls 12 singles in Niru’s Tennis Academy Junior Open this past weekend. Over the course of the year she has become¬†our most improved player on the entire program and ended the year like a champ! We are to proud of Miu! Let’s see what 2018 has in store for you!
