Sony Smart Tennis Sensor

As advanced technology is utilized in practically all fields and industry, finally the tennis community has a product that will completely alter the way a player trains and studies the game of tennis. Sony has developed a lightweight, wearable product that will track, record, and collect data on virtually every aspect of a player’s stroke and game. Simply attach the Smart Tennis Sensor to the bottom of a tennis racquet, and you are ready to start analyzing your game in-depth. A few data that the Smart Tennis Sensor can detect and display (via an app), include:

  • Number of shots hit
  • Ball contact spot
  • Swing type (i.e. forehand, backhand, volley, topspin, slice, etc.)
  • Racquet head speed
  • Ball speed and spin

Don’t just take our word for it though, learn more about the game-changing product in person! This Wednesday, July 29th at 11am, Silicon Valley Tennis will have a representative from Wilson who will be giving a presentation and demonstration of the Smart Tennis Sensor. Come join us and try out the new technology for yourself.
